Coody is dedicated to creating high-quality, innovative outdoor gear that enhances every camping experience with comfort, durability, and ease of use.
Preparation and Setup
Set up AirTarp Pro on level, raised ground, away from open flames, sharp objects, and trees with heavy snow buildup.
Plan to finish setup before nightfall.
Use a protective groundsheet or mat underneath to help keep the shelter clean.
In windy conditions, secure the shelter with stakes and guy ropes.
AirTarp Pro can be used as a standalone shelter, camp kitchen, lounge, or zip-on extension for compatible Coody AirTents.
Operating Temperature
Suitable for outdoor use between 5 °F and 104 °F.
In freezing temperatures, PVC air beams may become stiffer and folding may require more care. This is normal.
Air pressure can drop in cold weather, so check and adjust pressure regularly.
Air Pressure and Frame
Recommended inflation pressure: 7 PSI.
Confirm that all valves are securely closed after inflation.
Do not overinflate. Recheck pressure when temperature changes significantly.
The 4-point inflatable support structure helps create a stable shelter when properly inflated and secured.
Heating and Ventilation
If using a stove jack, only use a compatible camping stove with a spark arrestor.
Never use open flames inside the shelter.
Always ventilate properly to reduce the risk of carbon monoxide buildup.
Keep heat sources away from fabric, mesh panels, air beams, and walls.
Safe electric heaters may be used with proper ventilation and supervision.
Condensation and Humidity
Condensation is natural in enclosed shelters, especially during cold or humid weather.
To reduce condensation:
- Keep mesh panels or vents partially open when possible.
- Warm the shelter gradually.
- Use a groundsheet or mat under the shelter area.
- Choose campsites with lower humidity when possible.
- Dry the shelter fully before packing.
Rain, Wind, and Snow
AirTarp Pro is designed to protect from sun, rain, and wind when properly set up.
For strong wind, use extra stakes and guy ropes.
Remove accumulated snow from the roof frequently.
Do not allow heavy snow to build up on the fabric.
If zippers freeze, thaw them gently. Do not force frozen zippers.
Folding and Storage
Deflate the shelter fully before packing.
Cold weather can make PVC and fabric stiffer, so fold carefully.
Dry completely in a ventilated area before storage.
Store only when clean and dry.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid wearing boots inside the shelter.
Keep sharp objects away from the fabric, mesh panels, and inflatable frame.
Keep the shelter away from chemicals and flammable substances.
Mold and continuous UV exposure can shorten product lifespan.
Clean and dry the shelter after use.
Fire Safety
Use electrical devices with care.
Keep entrances clear for emergency exit.
Keep a fire extinguisher or fire-suppression tool nearby when using heating equipment.
Keep fireworks and similar items away from the shelter.

Built for Flexible Outdoor Living.

✓ Standalone Shelter or Zip-On Extension
AirTarp Pro works as a full-size standalone shelter, camp lounge, or outdoor kitchen, so you do not need a Coody tent to use it. When you do have a compatible Coody AirTent Pro, it zips on to create a larger covered living area for cooking, relaxing, changing clothes, storing gear, or waiting out bad weather.

✓ Coody-Developed AirPoly PU3000 Fabric
AirPoly is Coody’s own lightweight shelter fabric, designed to make a large canopy easier to carry, pitch, and manage. The PU3000 coating helps protect from rain, sun, and wind, while the breathable structure makes the shelter more comfortable during long camping days.

✓ Stable 4-Point Air-Beam Support
Unlike simple awnings that depend on a loose canopy and poles, AirTarp Pro uses four inflatable support legs to create a more rigid shelter body. This 4-point structure helps the shelter hold its shape better, improves stability, and makes the space feel more secure in real outdoor conditions.

✓ Fast 10-Minute Inflatable Setup
AirTarp Pro sets up in about 10 minutes with the included manual pump. Inflate the air beams to 7 PSI, secure the shelter, and you have a full walk-in outdoor room without assembling traditional pole frames.

✓ Compact Enough to Bring Along
For a full-size inflatable shelter, AirTarp Pro packs down to 28.3 x 16.5 x 16.5 in and weighs 43 lb. It is large enough to transform camp comfort, but still practical to transport and store with the rest of your camping gear.

✓ Weather-Ready Basecamp Space
AirTarp Pro helps create a protected outdoor zone when conditions change. Use it for shade on hot days, a covered kitchen in rain, a wind-buffered lounge area, or extra storage space that keeps your main tent cleaner and less crowded.

✓ Spacious Walk-In Comfort
With a 141.7 x 110.2 x 90.6 in footprint, AirTarp Pro gives you real usable space, not just shade. The tall walk-in design makes it comfortable for camp cooking, dining, lounging, organizing gear, or creating a protected entry area beside your tent.

✓ Mesh Airflow and Insect Protection
Modular mosquito side windows and an end wall help keep air moving while reducing insects inside the shelter. This makes AirTarp Pro more comfortable for warm-weather camping, meal prep, and evening use when bugs are usually most active.
